Heartstone Music - Traditional Music of the Celtic Isles
A Celtic Cacophony

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027QXQS8/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_imgThis single is now available from iTunes (worldwide) and Amazon.com (US, UK, Germany), and Barnes & Noble. I usually write film music and Electronica/Techno, so this is my first foray into traditional Celtic music (OK, with some experimentation). I wanted to include several instruments, so you’ll hear various drums like the Bodhrán (I lovelovelove it), whistles, violins and frost fiddles, and the Irish Bouzoukis; as well as the traditional Welsh harp. That’s a lot–thus, the piece’s title, “A Celtic Cacophony.” May the gods smile :-) Céad míle fáilte romhat!

    I write a lot of …
I write a lot of darkwave, ambient and techno/electronica, as well as film music (lots of trumpets and drums, ha!). I’m occasionally challenged by my ‘Light Side’ family to do things more upbeat, and ‘A Celtic Cacophony’ is an example, as is one of the other pieces, ‘Summer Rain.’ Many people thought ‘This Is Who We Are’ was a happy-happy song, but if they watched the original video, they would have seen something slightly more sinister… ;->
