I’ve been into Alan Stivell for years, but these vids add a whole new dimension. After hearing, this song goes through my head for about a day or so - had to get my fix.
    Thank you, my friend.

to oyden, trad metal is cool, without it many people would actually probably not know about traditional music at all,

    Hi Louis, of course …
Hi Louis, of course I meant French not Fench! Typo. Are you familiar with the “swamp music” of the French creoles in the onetime Louisiana Territory? Very different from any of this but it felt French to me when I heard it. I wanted to dance to it.

    To louis3466:
    Last …

    To louis3466:
Last year I started doing American country line dancing. At a jamboree one teacher had us dance to French songs. That surprised me (Im part French) and I got interested in the orgins of line dance and U.S. country music, which is Celtic, African, Fench, Spanish etc. I discovered clogging, done to Appalachian bluegrass, was led to explore Cape Breton clogging (Canada) and led to Breton music in France. Educational and fun! Your connection to all this is…musician? What?
